How to use Avatar Maker
What you will get
Render a Minecraft skin as a 2D face, 3D head, upper body or full-body PNG with camera and pose controls. Output: Square PNG, 128–1024 px. You can use this tool without connecting a Minecraft or Microsoft account.
Minecraft skin head avatar maker with PNG export
Create a 2D face, 3D head, upper-body or full-body avatar from your skin. Choose Classic / Slim arms, outer layers, a transparent or colored background and 128–1024 PNG size. Neutral, Wave and T-pose options change the 3D render.
Choose a 2D skin-head crop or a 3D head / body render, then adjust rotation and elevation. Keep the original skin for Minecraft; the portrait PNG is a profile image rather than a playable skin.
How do I create a Minecraft avatar from my skin?
Upload a 64 × 64 skin, choose 2D face, 3D head, upper body or full body, and select Classic / Slim arms and outer layers. Adjust rotation, elevation and pose, then choose background and PNG size. The full-body PNG is a rendered profile image, not a playable skin.
Minecraft avatar creator for skin-head profile images
Create a Minecraft avatar as a 2D face, 3D head, upper body or full body. Import a 64 × 64 skin, select Classic / Slim arms and outer layers, then adjust rotation, elevation and pose. Choose transparent or colored background and download a square 128–1024 PNG. Keep the original skin for Minecraft; the portrait does not create a new playable character or change your account skin.

Use your avatar PNG
Choose 2D face,3D head, upper body or full body. Set model, outer layer, pose, rotation, elevation, background and PNG size, then download the rendered image. The existing example below illustrates2D face mode. Portrait PNGs are profile images; Minecraft skins still need the original 64 × 64 UV sheet.
Common problems & next steps
The background is solid
Choose transparent background before exporting. Some image viewers show a solid backdrop behind transparent PNGs.
My hat is missing
Enable the hat layer and check that the source skin contains nontransparent pixels in its head outer layer.
Minecraft will not accept the avatar as a skin
Use the original 64 × 64 skin instead. Rendered portraits are profile images rather than skin UV sheets.
